olive oil
salt & pepper
lemon juice
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
cut broccoli into florets. if you wash it, let it dry thoroughly. put broccoli in a plastic bag with a couple of tablespoons olive oil and some salt & pepper. shake bag until everything is coated. dump contents onto greased baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until "crisp tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned." take out of the oven and squeeze some lemon juice (or shake some, if you used bottled lemon juice like me) over the broccoli. and a little extra olive oil. toss with parmesan cheese. eat. so good.
notes: i'm not in love with broccoli - but troy and i ate this whole pan in one sitting. it was really tasty. when baking at 425 degrees my broccoli sometimes gets a little burned before it becomes "tender". if your oven also does this, just bake it at a lower temp, like 400.
